Working at Mission Controls
Good People: Find Them, Then Keep Them
|
Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard
at work worth doing.
— Theodore Roosevelt
When queried about their strengths, most companies
reply, "It's our people."
One of Mission Controls' core values is hiring for life. When Craig Nelson, Neal Vaoifi
and Scott Young founded the company in 1997, they made a pledge to one another that they
would sooner go without pay than lay off any of their staff. This attitude makes recruiting
a very serious task. Applicants are screened with the utmost scrutiny and are subjected to a
unique peer review prior to being hired.
Because of this unique screening process, once hired by Mission Controls you are among a very
elite group. The organization is set up so that departmental barriers do not keep people from
doing their jobs. It is truly a cohesive team that can reorganize as needed for the task at hand.
Respect and job satisfaction are among the reasons why employees stay with Mission Controls.
