Field Technicians

Placing Your Systems in Capable Hands

Our Field Technicians are at the heart of what we do. Mission Controls Field Technicians put their feet on your floor and their hands on your machinery. Our Field Technicians make projects happen in a practical sense. They are proud people, every one.

It’s important that our technicians have over a century of combined experience in electrical, mechanical and automation controls service, a fleet of white trucks, and experience in conducting virtually hundreds of startups in plants coast to coast. The more important fact about our technicians is that they care very much about their reputation, and about the reputation of Mission Controls.

For example, they believe every device, wire and poly tube should be clearly and permanently labeled with an address tag. It just makes sense, so they spend time tracing, verifying and labeling. It’s part of the service, and it reflects on their reputation.

They believe any devices or panels they install should be fully tested and proved before they leave our shop. That makes sense also, so that’s what they do. Their reputation is sterling.

It makes sense that electrical and air circuits should be carefully checked before the startup, so that’s what our Field Technicians do. They know they’re "only as good as their last startup," so they take care to eliminate issues that could foul the startup.

You’ll find that Mission Controls is well known for its mastery of startups and cutovers.

Startups are not left to chance. In fact, Mission Controls startups and cutovers are carefully planned by our Field Services people, down to the smallest detail. The same engineers who designed the system, the same programmers who wrote the code, and the same Field Technicians who traced and labeled are onsite for startups. Terminations are complete, accurate, and secure.

If you want to compare and make a due diligence judgment about process engineering, automation controls, and system integration companies, look at how they perform startups. That’s where the scorecard is written.

Mission Controls’ Field Technicians have a busy schedule, but not so busy that they can’t attend the technical classes at Anderson, ABB, Allen-Bradley and other OEM providers. It matters to their reputation that they stay on top of the latest technology.

Safety counts. Our Field Technicians all have OSHA safety cards, receive regular safety reminders, and make it a point to learn and follow your safety rules.
