Introducing the DigiStep™ Temperature Controller with Dynamic-Mode™
Mission Controls® have taken the ‘Hybrid’ style controller to new heights by adding Dynamic-Mode™ to the interface of its next-generation DigiStep™ Temperature Controller. This entirely new technique has been developed to help bridge the performance gap between this type of 5 step transformer technology, favoured primarily by users looking to eliminate fan motor hum, with more modern techniques that offer smoother fan control and improved accuracy.
Dynamic-Mode™ is not be confused with ‘hysteresis’ or ‘bandwidth’ features that simply allow the user to set a number of degrees centigrade that the room can fluctuate before the controller reacts. These features only result in greater temperature drifts and more fan noise as fans have to work harder to deal with the temperature fluctuation when they do eventually kick in. Dynamic-Mode™ IMPROVES the accuracy of the controller, makes fans run MORE smoothly and LOWERS unnecessary fan noise.
Dynamic-Mode™ gives the user the ability to control how frequently room conditions are measured by our Enviro-Sense™ Temperature Monitoring System. The more frequently room conditions are monitored, the quicker the controller can react and correct fluctuations in temperature. More dynamic fan control results in higher accuracy with less unnecessary fan noise as smaller, less dramatic steps in fan speed are needed. Couple this with the zero buzzing and humming from fan motors that ‘Hybrid’ style controllers are famous for, and the Digi-Step™ Temperature Controller really pushes the boundaries of this technology.
